While doing an exhibit in Paris at the Galerie Halle Saint Pierre, I was preparing in my room 3 miniature paintings on copper and brass for a group show in New York City. In this piece, the reflected figure is echoed by the reflected architecture framing him. The other 2 paintings were still lives of leaves that I'd found in the Tuilleries gardens.
