THE ALTAR WITH 3 PANELS

The candle in the left sculpture is from the church St. Augustin in Paris. Silver bezel wire pulled taught by the circle of figurines suspend it in place. I lit it on both opening and closing nights. The panel on the right of the photo is a painting of a candle which balances the composition in "light". The central panel is a figure painted in oils directly onto the ceramic surface. Materials for these pieces are stoneware and porcelain (except the central panel which is exclusively stoneware).
